**Sheikh Ziyaad Mahomed** is an International Islamic Scholar, Assistant Professor at the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCIEF),  and trainer in various aspects of Islamic Finance. He has lectured at numerous training seminars in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He has acted as a Shariah consultant to institutions in Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Niger, and Nigeria. Sheikh Ziyaad has been involved in launching Takaful, Unit Trusts, and Islamic Microfinance Models in Africa. He is the MD of IFISA, a Shariah Consultancy and Training company specializing in Islamic Finance. He has been appointed as the Chairman of the Shariah Committee of HSBC Amanah on 7th February 2017.
